Eva first started practicing mindfulness meditation in the late ‘80’s, taking part in retreats with Western and Eastern meditation teachers, and facilitating various meditation groups.
Eva has done MBSR/MBCT teacher training at the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at the University of Wales, Bangor, and is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Mindfulness-Based Approaches.
She has taught mindfulness classes in Frome since 2008. She also practices Qigong and Daoist meditation. Having studied with various teachers since the mid-‘80’s, she started on-going training with Master Zhixing Wang in 2001, in the Hua Gong style of Qigong.
Some ten years ago Eva encountered serious health problems. This experience has enriched her understanding of mindfulness in everyday life. She was also very fortunate in experiencing significant healing with the help of her teacher Zhixing. She finds mindfulness and Qigong greatly enhance each other, and help her live and teach moment-to-moment.
She lives in Frome with her husband, and has a grown-up stepdaughter.
