The practice of yoga promotes health and well being, bringing the benefits of inner peace and calm. It also provides an opportunity to bring some kind attention to ourselves and recharge our batteries.
Starting in January Judith Rawlings will be offering Gentle Yoga at Pure Moves. These sessions are for people who need or prefer a gentler approach with personal attention on a one to one basis. They are tailored specifically to each persons needs and are suitable for people with back pain, fibromyalgia, muscle and joint aches and pains, anxiety and depression.
The emphasis is on easeful movement synchronised with the flow of breath, postures, breathing practices and relaxation.
Particular attention is placed on mindfulness, which is the awareness of our moment-to-moment experience.
The sessions are 50 minutes long and take place in the upstairs therapy room. They are available for individuals but two people may also share a session if preferred.
Fees
£30 per individual session or £15 each if two people sharing.
Clients will be asked to attend an initial 30-minute consultation at no cost and complete a detailed questionnaire before attending the first session.
