An ongoing meditation class is held every Thursday evening for regulars. Run by Vajrasara, Nagamudra and team - all experienced meditators. All trained in the tradition of the Western Buddhist Order.
These ongoing evenings are suitable for those with experience of meditation, as taught on our Introductory courses. Each evening begins with a substantial period of led meditation. Talks, teaching and discussion of the Buddhist principles that underpin meditation are offered in the second half - after a break for tea. Most people find it very supportive to meditate regularly with others. It is also a rare opportunity to share and discuss our experiences with others and relate them to the wisdom of the Buddhist tradition. Contact Vajrasara for details of the teaching programme.
£7 per class (concessions available). No need to book.
There are also newcomers courses each term.

Meditation helps us become calm, focused, compassionate and more alive. The course provides clear and supportive teaching in cultivatin awareness; so we can maintain a healthy connection with heart, breath, body and the world. Two practices are taught: the mindfulness of breathing, which leads to concentration and integration of our energies; and metta bhavana (development of loving-kindness) which encourages sensitivity, care and an open heart and mind.
The course offers guidance in how to work with anxiety, restlessness, mood swings and physical pain. These two meditations help us to relax more deeply and access the joy of simply being present. Suitable for those of any faith, or none. Booking for this course is necessary as numbers are limited.
