Natural Nutrition is a unique system that combines good nutrition, knowledge of natural rhythms and cycles and also a variety of naturopathic techniques. It is based on the principle that if we have the correct nutrition and are in tune with the natural rhythms and cycles of Nature, we will create the freedom and movement necessary for good health.
Natural Nutrition aims to remove all barriers that have previously suppressed your body’s attempts to remain healthy, easing the stress that prevents freedom and movement so that health may be restored.
A healthy human being is someone who is not only in touch with themselves and those around them, but is also realising their full human potential.
We each have our own individual role to play in life, and whether we know it or not, we are all striving to fulfil our own unique purpose. We cannot do this effectively when in a state of dis-ease or ill health. Nevertheless, it should be recognised that ill health can sometimes be a catalyst for change.Natural Nutrition can be helpful for any of the following conditions:
The above health issues are all symptoms of an underlying lack of freedom and movement. Natural Nutrition seeks to remedy the stresses that lie behind these symptoms so that the healing process can take place.
By working with a Natural Nutrition Therapist, whatever your present state of health, you will begin to discover the connections between your present and past health issues, and also the influence of previous generations. These patterns once perceived clearly will give you a new understanding of your present situation, which can be very empowering.
Our aim will be to first alleviate and then release all areas of stagnation and blockage. A combination of good nutrition plus appropriate naturopathic techniques will gently change the conditions that have led to your present difficulties. If necessary, some supplements will be recommended.
Our modern western diet is very far removed from that of our ancestors. They ate what was available locally and in season. Even though nowadays we have a larger variety of foods available there can be a tendency to eat only a narrow range. This can mean that we do not get enough vital nutrients and may well become undernourished. Good nutrition ensures that your body has all the resources it requires for optimum health.
During our first meeting we will discuss your past and present health issues as well as those of your parents and grandparents.
Your diet will be reviewed and some helpful naturopathic techniques will be explained.
A follow-up session will usually follow a few weeks later to review your progress. However, because the Natural Nutrition approach is to empower us to take responsibility for our own health, it is not expected that you will require more than two or three sessions at the most.
